Exolaunch Expands Partnership with SpaceX for Satellite Launches

Exolaunch, a leader in launch mission management and satellite deployment technologies, has fortified its alliance with SpaceX by securing a series of new multi-year launch contracts. These agreements are set to bolster Exolaunch's small satellite launch capabilities through 2028, leveraging SpaceX's rideshare missions. The contracts cover a spectrum of mission types, including traditional Transporter missions to sun-synchronous orbit (SSO), as well as mid-inclination, near-polar, and dawn-dusk missions, addressing a wide range of launch needs.

Exolaunch is adept at integrating and deploying a variety of satellites, from CubeSats up to 16U, to microsatellites weighing between 20 to 800 kilograms, and even larger payloads. Since 2020, Exolaunch has partnered with SpaceX on over 160 contracts, successfully deploying more than 400 satellites across 20 missions using Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets. These missions have delivered payloads to diverse orbits, including Low Earth Orbit (LEO) SSO, mid-inclination orbits, geostationary orbit (GEO), and deep space.

Notably, Exolaunch is the only launch integrator to have consistently manifested satellites on every Transporter rideshare mission to date. These missions have supported customers from various countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and many others. Furthermore, Exolaunch has played a pivotal role in enabling significant milestones for emerging space nations, facilitating launches for customers in Senegal, Kenya, Croatia, Mongolia, Djibouti, Botswana, and beyond.

Innovative Deployment Hardware

Exolaunch's deployment hardware, renowned for its reliability, includes the CarboNIX microsatellite separation rings, EXOport multi-satellite adapters, EXOpod Nova CubeSat deployers, and Quadro four-point separation systems for microsatellites. The company is set to introduce several new separation systems for microsatellites and CubeSats in upcoming missions, continuously enhancing its product line to meet the evolving demands of the global satellite industry.

Kier Fortier, Vice President of Global Business Development at Exolaunch, highlighted the significance of the ongoing collaboration with SpaceX, stating, "Exolaunch’s sustained and growing collaboration with SpaceX underscores our joint commitment and mission to provide reliable access to space." SpaceX's Vice President of Commercial Sales, Stephanie Bednarek, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the successful delivery of hundreds of payloads to orbit for Exolaunch.

Expanding Global Reach

Recently, Exolaunch successfully deployed 27 customer satellites on the Transporter-13 rideshare mission, delivering over 1,500 kilograms of payload into orbit for clients from 14 countries. The upcoming Transporter-14 mission is poised to deploy nearly 50 customer satellites, reflecting the growing global demand and Exolaunch's increasing mission cadence.

Jeanne Allarie, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at Exolaunch, expressed gratitude for the productive collaboration with SpaceX, stating, "We’re thankful to SpaceX for our fruitful long-term collaboration and for delivering hundreds of payloads successfully to orbit." As part of its strategic growth, Exolaunch is expanding its U.S. operations, with new offices and integration facilities in Denver, and establishing a presence in France and Japan to better serve local satellite operators.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming launches and a reputation for reliability, Exolaunch is well-positioned to continue providing orbital access for ambitious space programs worldwide.
